Are you really Happy? YOU COULD BE .. I would like to ask you a question: Are you really happy? When I was growing up in my teenage years and early twenties, I was trying what the world said would make me happy. The world said that drinking, drugs, parties, girls, and other things of the world would make me happy. So those are some of the things that I tried. But, guess what? They never made me happy. Yes, it was fun for a while. Like the Bible says, There is pleasure in sin for a season. But that season passes. Spring will pass. Summer will pass, and the fun of sin will pass also. I went through many heartaches, trials and many hard times, looking at the world to try to make me happy. I remember many times after a party was over, being alone and thinking, "Is this all that life's about? For a long time, I fought and did not want to do what I felt God wanted me to do. I ran from it and tried to avoid anything about God, the Bible, or church. Finally, after running for a long time, I decided that I would do what God wanted me to do. I honestly thought that when I did that, I would live a miserable life and would not have any fun. After a couple of weeks of trying to do what God has for me, I noticed something amazing. I was Happy!!!!!!! I didn't understand it. I went through the Bible and looked and studied and tried to find out what GOD had to say. I found a verse, Proverbs 29:18, "He that keepeth the law, happy is he." That was amazing to me, and honestly, I did not believe it. God said that if I would keep the law (obey the Bible), I would be happy. I thought if I obeyed the Bible. I could not have any fun. I found out afterwards, that that was a lie of the devil. I would like to seriously ask you a question: Are you happy? I mean truly happy. Not, are you having some fun sometimes, but are truly happy? Do you ever wonder if there is more to life than what you have? Let's be honest with ourselves, and think with me, please. God created you. Since God created you, he would know what would make you happy. God wrote the Bible to tell us many things, and one of those things was to be happy, God says, is to keep His word. I would like to invite you to give it a chance. I've been on the other side and had the wild fun, but it never brought true happiness for which I was looking. I would like to invite you to try God's side and see if God could not make you happier than you've ever been in your life. To be honest, the devil doesn't want you to do that, and he will fight you. The devil hates you and will try your whole life to keep you away from God, the source of all true happiness. He may try to get you to not to read this and not think about it. I pray that you would not. I've been where, you're at - searching for what the world has to make you happy. I didn't find it. I only found happiness in obeying the God that created me and obeying the Word that told me how to be happy. I hope and pray that you'll give it a chance. You might say, like I used to say, "I have tried church before, but there wasn't anything there but hypocrites." Or you might say, "I gave God a chance one time, and it did not work out." I grew up in church and said those things and more. There are differences in churches, and there is also a difference in someone that knows what you've been through, really cares, and it there to help you. The most important thing is knowing how to go to Heaven. Click here, and how to go to Heaven will be explained to you clearly. If you have any questions about that, or about how to be happy, or about anything else, I ask that you would, please, give me a call. I would love to be a help to you. Give it a chance. What would it hurt? God loves you and would love to make your life worthwhile and happy.
