A hero is someone that is extraordinary person that we would like to model ourselves after.

Everyone has hero’s.
There are some people that are proud and say they don’t have heroes. They might be so proud so as to be their own hero. The Bible says in Jeremiah 5:5, “I will get me unto the great men, and will speak unto them; for they have known the way of the LORD, and the judgment of their God:” One time an older preacher told me there were not great men, but only normal men God has used in a great ways. That statement sounded good, but if that is true, then how are we to get to the great men as Jeremiah said? We realize no one outside Jesus was perfect, but there have been some great men that we should model ourselves after and learn from.

Jesus Christ is our ultimate hero that we should model ourselves after and try to be like. We should have His mind, and try to do the works that He did.
