Getting to Heaven is not hard for us at all. Since Jesus did everything that was hard, it is very easy for us to be able to go to Heaven. John 3:16 says, For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in Him, should not perish, but have everlasting life. That sure sounds very easy to me.
It is sad to see many churches and people that believe it is hard to go to Heaven. Since people believe that, many Bible versions have been changed to say it is hard to go to Heaven. In Matthew 7:14, the correct King James Bible says, ...narrow is the way which leadeth unto life Narrow means not wide; it doesn’t mean hard. There is only one path leading to Heaven and that is through Jesus. The New Scofield Bible changed it to hard is the way. The New King James Bible changed it to difficult is the way. Both of those are horribly wrong. The Contemporary English Version, the New Revised Standard Version, the New Century Version and others all say it is hard to get to Heaven.
What a sad thing to see people try to change the simple gospel of accepting Jesus Christ as our Saviour to something that is hard. We had better stay with the King James Bible.
THE NEW INTERNATIONAL VERSION
I would like to quote a verse to you from the New International Version of the Bible. Acts 8:37 in the NIV says, "                 ." If you are wondering why the space is left blank, you are not alone. That verse is probably the most important verse in the whole passage. I also wondered why it was left out when I received an NIV Bible from my church upon my graduation from high school. Why is that verse totally left out of the Bible, along with other verses and other parts of verses?
When I considered how important that verse was, and how important the other verses were, I wondered if it were by accident or if someone was behind it. Then I found out that the word "Lucifer" is not found in the whole NIV, and that "Lucifer" is changed to "Morning Star" in Isaiah 14:12. The term "Morning Star" is used in Rev. 22:16 to talk about Jesus. When a person sees things like that, it is easy to see that it is not an accident, but that someone is behind it.
The sad part is that many Christians and preachers either don't know or they don't care. They have been taught that the NIV is good and accurate. They say that Acts 8:37 and other verses were added in later by other versions, yet the verses have been found in older manuscripts than the ones used to translate the NIV.
I don't know about you, but if I were using a Bible that had verses taken out, and "Lucifer" had been changed to "Morning Star," or if I were going to a church that was using that book, I would change my Bible and my church soon.
If you use the NIV or any of the modern versions, then this little article will probably not be enough to change your mind, but you should at least check it out. The Bible does say to "prove all things." Stick to the King James Bible. It has been proven!
Why the King James Bible?
You may not want to read this- Because then you'll have to do something about it.
All over our town, our country, and the world, churches are using Bibles that are corrupt, and most good people don’t know anything about it. Preachers either don’t know or don’t tell their people, and then the people accept these new "bibles" as good when they are perversions of the truth.
I have more information about this subject than could be written in an 1,000 page book, but I hope this lesson will open your eyes to a horrible trick of Satan that has been played upon many people.
Satan knows that he couldn’t just come and take our Bible from us. We wouldn’t allow that. Therefore, Satan came along to us with a trade. We could trade our "old, outdated Bible" for a "modern, up-to-date ‘bible’." Many people were tricked and deceived. In doing this, Satan still got his plan accomplished. He still removed the true Word of God out of our hand. All of the modern "bibles" are corrupt, including the NIV, ASV, NASV, NKJV and all the rest. I hope I can answer some of the questions that are asked by good people that just don’t know.
"AREN’T ALL THE VERSIONS OF THE BIBLE THE SAME?"
I would like to show you a verse from the New International Version of the Bible. Acts 8:37 in the NIV says, "                                 ." If you are wondering why the space is blank, you are not alone. The verse is totally left out. That verse is probably the most important verse in the whole passage. When I considered how important that verse is, and how important the other verses are, I wondered if it was by accident or if someone was behind it. Then I found out that the word "Lucifer" is not found in the whole NIV, and that "Lucifer" is changed to "Morning Star" in Isaiah 14:12. The reason that is such a big deal is because "Morning Star" is used as a reference to Jesus in Rev. 22:16. When a person sees things like that, it is easy to see that it is not an accident, but that someone (Satan) is behind it. The sad part is that many Christians and preachers either don't know, or they don't care. They have been taught that the NIV is an accurate translation. Over 50% of all the new so-called "bibles" sold are the NIV’s. Most Christians don’t realize that there are 16 total verses left out of the NIV, (Romans 16:24; Acts 28:29, 24:7, 15:34, 8:37; John 5:4; Luke 23:17, 17:36; Mark 15:28, 11:26, 9:44 & 46, 7:16; Matthew 23:14, 18:11 and 17:21) and it has 64,000 less words than the KJV. How does leaving a verse out help me to better understand it? As you can see, the new versions are not the same!
"SATAN WOULDN’T TRY TO CHANGE GOD’S WORD, WOULD HE?"
The first time we find Satan in the Bible, he is under the tree of knowledge of good and evil. He is trying to deceive. The first way he deceived was by questioning God's Word. Satan said to Eve, "Yea, hath God said?" He was saying to her, "Did God really say that?" That is the same attack Satan uses today on the Bible. The Devil will get people to question whether the Bible is really God's Word. Many people tell me now that the Bible is just a book written by man. They have been tricked by Satan's first deception to the human race. The second way Satan tricked Eve was to change the Word of God. God had told them that if they ate of the fruit, they would surely die. Satan changed it and said, "Ye shall not surely die." The Devil does the same thing today by changing the Bible in other versions. The New International Version of the Bible changes 1 John 5:7 and takes out the Deity of Christ. It takes out "through His blood" in Col. 1:14. All through the NIV, there are footnotes that say, "This verse isn’t supposed to be here," or they say, "This verse is not in the ‘ancient and best manuscripts’." The self-proclaimed scholars are doing the same things Satan did in the garden of Eden. They are questioning God’s Word, and then they are changing it.
AREN’T THE NEW VERSIONS
TRANSLATED FROM OLDER AND BETTER MANUSCRIPTS?
Some people try to say that the new versions are better because they are taken from older manuscripts. There are some older manuscripts that the King James translators didn't use because the manuscripts were corrupt. Some of the corrupt manuscripts were not found yet, but over 5,000 of the best and most accurate manuscripts were diligently used. Two of the so-called "ancient and best manuscripts" are called Codex Sinaiticus, designated "Aleph," and Codex Vaticanus, designated "B." These two disagree with each other over 3,000 times just in the four gospels alone. To me, that doesn't sound like the best manuscripts. These manuscripts came from men who did not hold to many of the basic foundational doctrines. These manuscripts, along with a few others, were used to put together a Greek New Testament. Almost all the new "bibles" are translated from this corrupt New Testament. Some people say the King James translators added in those verses because they are not in the oldest manuscripts. The footnotes of the modern "bibles" say, "not found in the oldest and best manuscripts." That is not true. The verses are not in the corrupt Aleph and B, but they are in older manuscripts of the Bible that have been found.
I realize this can seem pretty complicated, but it is really very simple. If anyone truly wanted to know this issue, I would be glad to help them with the truth. Most people who use other versions are not bad people, it is just that no one ever taught them what was right.
When I graduated from high school, my church gave me an NIV. I was excited. I said, "This is great. Now I have a better, more simple Bible to read......" Now I know better.
AREN’T THE NEW VERSIONS EASIER TO UNDERSTAND?
Many people say that the new versions are easier to read, and therefore, easier to understand. First of all, God says an unsaved person will not understand the Bible anyway (1 Cor. 2:14, Acts 8:31, John 8:47). It is amazing how much a person can understand the Bible when the Author is in his heart. Secondly, the King James Bible is written on an easier grade level. According to the Flesch-Kincaid research company, the KJV ranks at a 5th grade reading level. The NKJV ranks at a 7th grade level, and the NIV at an 8th grade level. If their desire was to make it easier to understand, why would they make the words harder. They changed Daniel 3:3 from "princes" in the KJV, to "satraps" in the NKJV. They changed 2 Chron. 2:2 from "told" in the KJV to "conscripted" in the NIV. They changed "new" in Mark 2:21 in the KJV to "unshrunk" in the NASB. Many more examples could be mentioned.
There are only about 10,000 different words in the King James Bible. An average 5th grader has a 10,000 word vocabulary. If there is a word that someone doesn’t understand, all a person would have to do is look it up in the dictionary. You don’t have to write a whole new Bible just because you don’t understand the definition of a few words.
WHAT IS THE REAL REASON THAT THERE ARE SO MANY NEW BIBLES?
Since we can see the goal of the new version translators is not to make it easier to read and understand, we should look at the real reason for changing God’s Word. The KJV is the only version that is not copyrighted. Anyone who wants can print it. The other versions are copyrighted to make a profit. If a person wanted to print the gospel of John in the NIV to send it to a foreign country, he would have to pay the publishers money for every copy. The "love of money" is truly the root of all evil.
1.) Don’t take this too lightly. Some people may think that this isn’t that big of a deal. God says He magnifies His Word above His name (Ps. 138:2). God also says that people will suffer the plagues that are written in His Book for adding to it and taking away from it (Rev. 22:18-19). 2.) Get rid of your bad bibles. All of the new versions change something. Just because I didn’t mention your favorite version doesn’t mean there is nothing wrong with it. They are all corrupt, and therefore, are no good. Some people say they use them just for reference. Why do I need to look at Satan’s counterfeit "bibles" to learn what God wants me to know? There is no "better rendering" than the KJV. 3.) Show this to your pastor. Be ready, though, because they have probably been taught that the perversions are good "bibles." There is a lot of wrong thinking put out about the King James Bible by colleges, denominations and preachers in order to sell other "bibles." 4.) Read more information about the topic. There are many good books out about the modern versions. You probably can’t get them at the local Christian bookstore because they are making lots of money off of the bad versions. Call our church, and we can give you a list of good books to order and read. 5.) If your church uses the bad versions at all, you had better find a church that uses just the King James Bible. After reading this, you probably will have a desire to get your pastor and congregation to change. Even if they don’t change, you will still give an account for yourself when you meet Jesus. I want to give an account to Him as one that was loyal to His Word. How can we have the right kind of home and church without even having God’s Word? 6.) If you have any questions, please feel free to call anytime. Thank you for taking the time to read this brochure. I hope you do something about it.
I would like to ask you a Bible trivia question for this article. See if you can figure it out. What do all these verses have in common: Romans 16:24; Acts 28:29, 24:7, 15:34, 8:37; John 5:4; Luke 23:17, 17:36; Mark 15:28, 11:26, 9:44 & 46, 7:16; Matthew 23:14, 18:11 and 17:21? If you are going to look these up in your New International Version, you will not be able to find them, because that is what these verses have in common. NONE OF THEM ARE IN THE NIV BIBLE!!!
I know what you are probably saying now, "I don't believe it!" To be honest, I didn't believe it either, until I looked it up in an old NIV that someone gave me, but it is true.
The verses that are taken out talk about Hell, the rapture, prayer, fasting and salvation. Some would argue that the doctrines are still in the Bible, even though they are not in that particular verse. Every verse in the Bible is important, and so is every word. God gives us verses in the Bible warning us about taking anything out of the Word of God. (Rev. 22:18-19)
There are some who would also argue that those verses are not in the ancient and best Greek texts. That is a LIE! All these verses are in texts and translations that are older than the two corrupt texts, about which they are talking.
Don't let anyone deceive you. Make sure you stick with the true King James Bible. God said He would preserve His Word, and He has! How can we have the right kind of churches and homes if we aren't even using the Word of God?
